Sowing Worlds

Sowing Worlds investigates the triangulation between the landscape and the body within the age of the Anthropocene. My work highlights the symbiotic relationship between living beings and the earth as well as the landscape itself and how they define and are defined by one another. My images generate dream-like surreal compositions whilst referencing the visceral bodily processes of digestion and regurgitation. Sowing World’s presents the body, from the inside, utilising medical images of internal bodily functions and organs. These are then placed as abstract forms within the context of the landscape. Thus provoking visual associations to the biological; highlighting our time on earth as well as our inherent relationship to nature.
